3 way crawl

It's kind of funny how Garren has adapted his crawl to wherever he is. He started out doing the typical crawl on his knees. Then when we put him in the pool or on our driveway he resorts to the bear crawl. Hagen was the one that had this one mastered. Then recently I noticed he does the crawl where he uses one knee and drags the opposite foot. He will do this for a few feet then go into the typical crawl. He has also now mastered stairs and just the other day went from downstairs to our third floor all by himself. He loves it and is so proud of himself!

Just today at the pool Garren was obsessed with crawling up the baby slide and trying to go down. Once before I got to him to help him go down the slide, he went down on his stomach. He loved it! No matter where I put him in the pool he would just crawl back to that slide.

On another note, Austin is also doing great in the pool. He is actually putting his head under, kicking his legs, and moving his arms...at the same time! This is huge. Last year he would only dunk his head under for a second. This year he is trying to dive into to the water to get dive rings. He is also really into cannonballs. I am excited to see how he does when he starts his swim lessons next week. Of course that being said, he is scared to down the blue water slide while last year he went down it.
