While my life is less crazy now that Hagen is in camp in the afternoons, I didn't realize that Austin might be kind of bored. So I figured now would be the perfect time to line up some playdates for Austin. Today he and his friend M from preschool are playing at our house. Somehow they ended up in my room on the bed. It is just so funny to hear them talk to each other. I know Austin is in seventh heaven since his friend shares his love of anything "Cars" (from the Dinsey Pixar movie). It just amazes me to hear them "pretending". They each just add on to what the other suggests. And they do it so seamlessly. And they get so excited with each idea.
"This garage is going to be closed today"
"Okay, but we will have to fix it and then it can be open tomorrow"
"Yeah, and then a lot of people will come to get their car fixed"
"I know, I will get some money so they can pay us"
"They can pay us twenty dollars"
"Oooh, that's a lot of money"
Then just as quickly they switched gears and started playing Ninja Turtles.

I thought of Austin today and wondered if he still liked Cars. Target has bathroom accessories based on the movie, do parents really decorate bathrooms for kids as young as Austin?
How cute, both of them and their little conversation! Tim's gone for the week and I already know MT is going to miss him terribly. For all the fighting, the sibs really are important!
